A propriedade denominada Sítio de Lazer Huver, com área de 20ha, está localizada a seis quilômetros do centro de Domingos Martins-ES, na comunidade de São Bento do Chapéu. Da pastagem do passado, hoje existe uma grande diversidade de culturas, floresta, piscicultura e atividades ditas não agrícolas do meio rural, como restaurante, pousada, pesque-pague, entre outras, indicando um redesenho da propriedade, que atrai a cada dia mais turistas capixabas e de outros estados brasileiros. O objetivo deste relato consiste em sistematizar este estudo de caso, que servirá como apoio teórico e prático para o desenvolvimento rural de diversas regiões do país. The membres of the family Huver are rural farmers on the highland of Espírito Santo State, descending of the German colonization. The property denominated Ranch of Leisure Huver has an area of 20 hectares and is located six kilometers far from Domingos Martins/ES?s center, in the community of São Bento do Chapéu. Pasture was the greatest part of the farm but now a day exists a great diversity of crops, natural and cultivated forests, fish farming and activities not related with agriculture as restaurant, lodging, fish-pay, among others, indicating an redraw of the rural property that attracts every day more tourists came from Espírito Santo and other Brazilian states.
