| Descrição: | The genetic material of Conilon coffee (Coffea canephora) developed by the Espirito Santo State Research Company for Agriculture and Animal Husbandry -EMCAPA is tolerant to drought and targeted to farmers located on the driest areas of the state and without any economic condition for irrigation. The EMCAPA 8141-Robustão Capixaba was the first cloned variety developed for the Espirito Santo dry regions. This new variety presents the following characteristics: short plants, suitable for cutting and high planting density; fruits ripening from May to June uniformly; median fruit sieve above 15; average productivity for regions under water stress of 54 bags (60 kg each) of processed coffee/ha, reaching a maximum of 112 bags; plants with high vigour, reduced loss of leaves and tolerance to main diseases such as rust leaf. |
