The present study evaluated the effect of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) inoculation on growth and nutrition of Euterpe edulis seedlings, supplemented or not with phosphate fertilization. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse. The randomized block design, consisted of a 3x2 factorial arrangement and 4 replicates, with two phosphorus doses (0 and 50 mg dm-3 of soil), two microbiological treatments (Rhizophagus clarus; laroideoglomus etunicatum; R. clarus + C. etunicatum) and control (without fungus). Sowing and inoculation occurred concurrently in 2 kg plastic bags. Height, collar diameter, leaf area, dry shoot mass, macronutrient content and mycorrhizal colonization percentage were determined after 226 days. Regarding mycorrhizal colonization percentage, R. clarus resulted significantly beneficial for the production of E. edulis seedlings. In the absence of phosphate fertilization, R. clarus and mixed inoculum increased all biometric variables and macronutrient contents in seedlings. Therefore, it is concluded that AMF inoculations provide beneficial effects for growth and nutrition of E. edulis seedlings, resulting in more vigorous plants at a low-cost strategy.

Cinturões verdes são áreas ao redor de regiões urbanas ou industriais que buscam atender a diversos objetivos, entre eles a melhoria da qualidade do ar. O cinturão verde da ArcelorMittal Tubarão compõe a cobertura verde de todo o parque industrial da empresa, tendo como principal objetivo a redução da velocidade do vento e o arraste do material particulado, contribuindo para a melhoria da qualidade do ar
na região urbana da Grande Vitória. O objetivo do presente trabalho foi avaliar a sobrevivência de espécies agroflorestais no enriquecimento das áreas verdes da ArcelorMittal Tubarão e nesse contexto foram selecionadas espécies com base na adaptação edafoclimática, rusticidade, porte, velocidade de crescimento, ciclo de vida e queda das folhas. O plantio foi realizado em novembro de 2015 no espaçamento adensado de 1,5 x 1,5 m, em forma de quincôncio. O levantamento da sobrevivência foi realizado aos 6, 18 e 24 meses. A sobrevivência aos 6 e 18 meses foi acima de 94 % para todas as espécies. Aos 24 meses a sobrevivência se manteva alta para a maioria das espécies, com execessão de Manguifera indica e Corymbia citriodora que apresentaram 81,25% e 77,27% de sobrevivencia respectivamente. A
sobrevivência média aos 6, 18 e 24 meses foi de 100%, 98,63% e 93,13% respectivamente, manifestando uma alta adaptação das espécies no ambiente industrial. |
